The last of the gifted to come about on the planet and trained by the Psionics in the use of magic the Wizards are known throughout the planet as gifted miracle workers. The universe has a bounty of untapped power, and if you know how to work the system you can break reality and bend it to your will. Wizards use many items of power and devices to coax out an effect, and all Wizards can be identified by their familiars or magic devices.
A great number of Wizards choose to bond with an object, and most that do choose the gauntlet for it’s utility and usefulness. The following rules apply only if the Wizard has chosen a gauntlet for her bonded object (otherwise, follow the standard Pathfinder rules for Arcane Bonds). If the Arcane gauntlet is lost or destroyed, it can be replaced after 24 hours in a special ritual that costs 50 gp per wizard level plus the cost of the masterwork item. This ritual takes 2 hours to complete. Items replaced in this way possess half of the additional enchantments of the previous bonded item rounded down. The enchantments the gauntlet keeps are chosen by the wizard. A wizard can designate an existing magic item as his bonded item. This functions in the same way as replacing a lost or destroyed item except that the new magic item retains its abilities while gaining the benefits and drawbacks of becoming a bonded item.
